1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

I can't believe I have had this blog for ONE year! CRAZY how time flies. I have really enjoyed this way of "staying in touch." I think it is totally awesome and I also think EVERYONE should have a blog.

Well, if you haven't heard yet, I have been converted to Apple which means I am in the process of switching all my pictures over to my new Mac. Organization takes time...so for the next little while I have decided to start putting our photos in my web gallery so family and friends can see what's going on with the Baddley Fam. So check often, there will probably be something new.

The address is http://gallery.mac.com/sarabaddley, you can also click on "A Badd Web Gallery" under Blog Buddies on this page. Once you get to the Gallery, click on the album you want to see. Then you will have the option to choose how you would like to view the photos...grid, mosaic, carousel, and slideshow (i prefer this one). You can click on one of those viewing options on the bottom left corner.

Have a wonderful day!

We Can Fly!

Before Mariah's birthday party, I told Steve it was going to be a Tinker Bell/Peter Pan theme. Wishfully thinking...I said to Steve, "Wouldn't it be fun if the kids could fly somehow at the party?" I almost forgot how much Steve loves a challenge and should have known that my wish would come true.

Puerto Vallarta

Our wonderful brother, Wayne let us stay at his condo in Puerto Vallarta. Wayne stayed the first day to show us around. It was so fun! This photo was taken from the condo's balcony. The pirate ship in the distance would come every night to the boardwalk for a short firework show. So awesome! There were many entertainers on the boardwalk as well. We would walk the boardwalk after dinner each night. We lucked out because we went to Puerto Vallarta during "Restaurant Week." This is when all the really nice restaurants have four course dinners for fantastic prices. We ate at a restaurant that is my favorite of all time. So yummy and right on the beach. We enjoyed watching the sunset during dinner each night on the beach for a week! We were so spoiled. Steve and I enjoyed zipling through the jungle. Some of the ziplines were really long and high! The guides were exellent and SO FUNNY! We loved going to the beach and relaxing. But one of our most favorite things that we did EVERY day was get a massage. They were only $35 for an hour and a half and by far the best massages we have ever had! This vacation was so wonderful and we can't wait to go back again. Thanks Wayne for letting us stay and thank you Mom for watching the girls during our trip. We love you!

29 Years

Steve and the girls threw me a wonderful Birthday party complete with yummy take out from Crush, ice cream cake, and backyard movie theater. It was so much fun! I am so spoiled! Oh yeah, and Steve gave me Gwen Stefani concert tickets! You will see those pictures later. It was awesome!

Last Day

Mariah is giving Mommy a big smoosh on her last day of preschool.

Buddies Mariah and Elise will be in the same class again next year. Yeah!

Folsom Girls Weekend

Lake Natoma in Folsom

Steve went out of town for a couple days so I decided to take the girls on a little weekend get away to Folsom. We visited the Zoo, rode the little train, and played at the park. And of course we had to stop by the outlets. It was so much fun! I just LOVE being with my girls.

Pretty Peacock

Shannon and Mariah love to look at the foxes and wolves move quickly around their cages. It was fun to hear Shannon try to make all the animal noises with Mariah.

We love the Zoo!!!!!

This train is so darling and the man who runs it loves his job which makes it even more fun for everyone. We have been on this train two times since this Folsom trip.

Mommy and Shannon on the train. Mariah is a couple rows behind us riding in a box car.

The girls had fun playing at the park next to the Zoo and Train

This was my secret sanity method when I took the girls shopping at the outlets. Thank goodness for ring pops!

Sweet Sisters

Cheese! I love that little face!

Mariah and Shannon

Mariah is our "Little Lovie." She always wants snuggles and loves to sit in our laps or lay with us in bed. Just a few nights ago after reading stories, Mariah and I were singing and chatting and I aksed her to stay little forever. She told me, "I have to grow Mommy, but I will still snuggle you when I am big. I promise" Oh, how I love her.
Shannon is very independent but LOVES to be big like her sister. She always wants to be like Mariah. She loves to play dress ups with Mariah, go potty like Mariah, and more. It is very cute to watch her run around in various princess shoes all day long. Mariah loves Shannon so much. She is so good to her even when Shannon isn't the best at showing her love the same way Mariah does. Let's just say, our little Shannon can be a touch spunky at times. But she will almost always pucker her lips to give Mariah a kiss when she asks for one. Whenever you ask Mariah to name her friends, she never leaves Shannon out of the list. They do everything together and are the best of friends.
Ready...Set...Go! Down the Slide! We love Grammy's house!
