Apple Hill

Here are some more photos from our visit to Apple Hill.

Oh Christmas Tree...

Our family started a new tradition last year thanks to our friends, the Takahashi's. They introduced us to the most wonderful place in the mountains known as Apple Hill. We went there to pick out and cut down our Christmas tree. It is usually packed with people up there but we went during the week and it was so peaceful and beautiful. Our cute Mariah was so thrilled to see the horses and ponies. She called them over to eat out of her hand. She is such an animal lover. We got to spend a whole afternoon in Apple Hill. I think we would have stayed a week if we could. It is so quaint and has a magical feeling. We love playing and making memories in pretty places.

Pumpkin Farm Fun

Mariah's preschool class took a feild trip to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm. It was our first time there and we loved it so much that we will make it a tradition to go every year.
We got to go on a train, then a hay ride to a pumpkin patch where we each got to pick out a pumpkin, then to a fun Mother Goose show with a pig race. Of course we couldn't leave without trying all the baked goodies and petting the animals. It was too much fun. How much longer untill Halloween comes around again?

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Malia, Mariah, and Ellie are very close in age and adore being together. There is nothing better than being with cousins according to Mariah. She loves her family and wishes she could play with her cousins every day! This picture was taken by Lori on Thanksgiving Day at Grammy Larson's home. Everyone enjoyed eachother's company while eating tons of food! Gobble! Gobble!
It was the perfect Thanksgiving Day.

Halloween

This Halloween was fun but quiet since we just moved into our new home not too long ago and went trick or treating by ourselves. We decided to go to some of the nearby neighborhoods since ours isn't quite developed yet. While trick or treating, Mariah would say, "Let's go another home!" She would say this every time a treat landed in her bag. Mariah would run to each house untill she got a little tuckered out and asked Daddy, "Uh Daddy, you carry me on your shoulders and I eat candy?" Steve carried Shannon in the Bjorn while she chewed and sucked on her fuzzy kitty costume. She would kick her feet when Mariah would run to the door. She is a doll. We LOVE enjoying the holidays with our little girls. They are so much fun...and of course, SO CUTE! Mariah asked to be a hot pink kitty cat this year. She wanted Shannon to be a kitty as well (black). Mommy wore kitty ears and Daddy wore a dog nose.
